A small team with a big love for tennis and browser gaming — here is how it all started.
At DomRankler, we believe that great games should be accessible to everyone. Tennis Dash was born from a simple idea: bring the thrill of professional tennis to any web browser, on any device, completely free of charge.
We set out to create a game that feels responsive and rewarding whether you are on a lunch break at work, commuting on a train, or relaxing at home. No app store, no sign-up walls — just instant fun.
Tennis Dash captures the excitement of real tennis rallies in a streamlined, pick-up-and-play format. The intuitive drag-to-hit controls make it easy for newcomers, while the progressively challenging AI opponents keep experienced players coming back for more.

A deeper look at the design decisions behind the game.
Tennis Dash was designed around one core principle: every rally should matter. Rather than overloading the player with complex menus and progression systems, we focused on perfecting the feel of each individual shot.
The game uses a physics-based ball trajectory system that rewards precise racket positioning. Where you meet the ball on your racket determines the angle, speed, and spin of your return. This creates a satisfying skill curve where small improvements in technique lead to dramatically better results.
We chose a clean, colourful art style inspired by the clay courts of Roland-Garros and the hardcourts of the Australian Open. The visuals are light enough to run smoothly on older devices while still feeling polished and vibrant.
The AI opponent system scales dynamically. Early matches are gentle and forgiving, giving new players time to learn the mechanics. As you progress, opponents begin using more advanced tactics — cross-court angles, drop shots, and aggressive net play — ensuring that the game never becomes stale.
